Rebecca Haught

Rebecca is a master’s level counselor. She primarily works with children and adolescents, although also enjoys working with adults and families. She uses an eclectic approach to counseling, utilizing methods such as cognitive behavioral therapy and play therapy to work with a wide range of emotional and psychosocial stressors. She believes that there is healing and hope for every circumstance and is constantly encouraged by her clients as they demonstrate both strength and bravery in overcoming life’s challenges.
Rebecca received her B.S. in Psychology from Abilene Christian University and her M.A. in Clinical Counseling and Marriage and Family Therapy from Hardin Simmons University. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor and a Registered Play Therapist, believing that play is a child’s first language. Through play, she believes clients can work though difficulties and achieve both growth and development.
Rebecca accepts private pay and is a network provider for most major insurances including BlueCross Blue Shield of TX, United Healthcare, Cigna, Tricare, PHCS network, Texas Medicaid, Superior Medicaid, Wellpoint Medicaid, First Care Medicaid, First Care, and Baylor Scott &White.
