Jennifer Rasco
LPC
Jennifer Rasco is a Licensed Professional Counselor who primarily works with children and adolescents. She brings over 11 years of experience in the foster care field, serving both as a foster parent and through her work with a child placing agency. Jennifer believes that by helping children heal and learn new skills to overcome negative behaviors or patterns, we have the opportunity to have fewer adults in the future who are struggling to overcome their childhood. Everyone deserves to have a voice and the opportunity to become the best version of themselves; a version they can be proud of.
Jennifer understands that beginning counseling often comes during difficult and overwhelming seasons of life, and she strives to create a therapeutic environment where clients feel comfortable, safe, and supported. She believes that when trust and safety are established, meaningful healing and growth can begin.
Jennifer earned her B.S. in Psychology from Liberty University and her M.A. in Professional Counseling from Liberty University. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor pursuing certification as a Registered Play Therapist. Through play therapy, Jennifer believes children are able to safely process stressors and trauma, learn new skills, and express emotions in developmentally meaningful ways.
Her therapeutic approach is client-centered and integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing, and play-based interventions to support each client’s unique needs and goals. With warmth, compassion, and encouragement, Jennifer walks alongside clients as they pursue healing, freedom, and personal growth.
Jennifer accepts private pay and all major insurance companies, including Medicare and Medicaid.
