Parker Alford
LPC-Associate
Parker Alford enjoys the opportunity to work with clients of all ages, but he is passionate about working with kids and teens, helping both them and their parents or caregivers to succeed on a day-to-day basis. He strives to create a supportive and encouraging environment where clients feel safe, heard, and valued throughout the counseling process.
His areas of focus include emotional dysregulation, anger, grief, anxiety, depression, and developing effective coping skills. Parker also enjoys working with relationship issues, identity concerns, and career or school-related challenges.
When working with children, Parker primarily utilizes a Child-Centered Play Therapy approach. He also uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Client-Centered approaches to best meet each client’s individual needs and goals.
Parker does not accept insurance at this time but does offer private pay with a sliding scale to help meet client needs.
