Roxanne Bush

    Roxanne Bush is a licensed professional counselor who specializes in working with adolescents and young adults. This age group is truly her passion, though she enjoys working with clients across the lifespan. She uses an eclectic, client-centered approach and incorporates a variety of therapeutic techniques based on each client’s individual needs and goals. She has a strong interest in the connection between physical health, nutrition, and mental wellness. For clients who desire it, she enjoys thoughtfully incorporating faith into the counseling process and treatment planning.

    Roxanne received her bachelor's degree in education and her M.Ed. in Counseling and Human Development from Hardin-Simmons University. Her professional background includes experience in residential treatment, education, and school-based mental health services. Most recently, she served as a Crisis Counselor for eight years, where her areas of focus included coping skills, grief, depression, suicidal ideation, anxiety, ADHD, anger, identity development, family concerns, school-related challenges, and career counseling. This experience allowed her to further develop strong skills in solution-focused therapy and crisis intervention.

    Roxanne is currently a fully licensed LPC in Texas and holds a Certified Integrative Mental Health Professional (CIMHP) certification. Her integrative approach reflects her interest in the relationship between mental, emotional, and physical health and allows her to incorporate evidence-informed wellness strategies into treatment when appropriate.

    She currently accepts private pay and offers a sliding scale to help meet client needs.
